A Ferrari 599 GTO acaba de ser anunciada pela própria marca como seu carro de rua mais rápido já lançado. A Ferrari 599 entra como um dos poucos carros italianos com a sigla GTO (Gran Turismo Omologato), que só esteve presente na Ferrari 250 GTO (anos 60) e naFerrari 288 GTO (anos 80).

O motor vem da Ferrari Enzo, um V12 com 670 cavalos a 8.250 rpm. O segredo para ser o carro mais rápido da marca usando um motor já presente em outro modelo, é o peso,193kg a menos que a Ferrari GTB.

Alguns diferenciais da Ferrari 599 GTO são marcantes. O poliuretano entrou no lugar do vidro, ajudando o carro a ficar mais leve, além de muita fibra de carbono e alumínio. O brinquedo chega a 325 km/h e será exibido oficialmente no Salão de Pequim, no final de abril.

FERRARI 599 GTB TUNING, BY NOVITEC ROSSO.

Ferrari tuner Novitec Rosso has turned its attention to the latest model to arrive into prancing horse showrooms, creating a potent new iteration of the 599 GTB.

The overhaul includes a performance kit which sees power from the V12 engine rise by more than 29kW, along with striking and aerodynamically efficient design enhancements and exclusive accessories.

The trademark Novitec twin-supercharged system lifts peak power to 594kW while an entry-level performance option increases power output from standard 456kW to 485kW without any alterations to the engine’s inner workings.

This conversion consists of new engine electronics and a complete Novitec stainless-steel exhaust system along with a new engine management system comprising new mapping for ignition and injection as well as increase in maximum engine speed to 8,550rpm.

In addition to the conventional exhaust system, a bi-modal exhaust system is also available which allows the driver to change the exhaust note using the Manettino switch on the steering wheel.

The unique Novitec body components have been fine tuned in a wind tunnel and include a front lip spoiler to reduce lift on the front axle, new rear wing and diffuser and new rocker panels with larger air damns – all available in a clear-coated carbon fibre finish.

Further Novitec exterior accessories include the trademark black taillights, side markers and auxiliary brake light as well as the new LED rear fog lights.

New sport suspension allows both the ride height and damper rates to be tuned according to customer preference, and also includes a nose-lift system which can raise the front of the car by 40mm before reverting back to normal height automatically at speeds over 80km/h or at the touch of a button.

Quando a Ferrari mostrou o 599XX, a versão normal do 599 parecia anémica. O Ferrari 599XX conseguia um excelente tempo em Nürburgring e captava as atenções de todos os adeptos de automóveis.

A versão 599XX é já perfeita a todos os níveis, mas nem todos podem ter esse carro. Para os possuidores do 599, a Vorsteiner poderá ter uma solução. Esta empresa mostrou agora a preparação que chamou 599-VX, que a partir do 59 GTB introduz algumas alterações, para o tornar muito próximo do 599 GTO e 599XX.

Esta preparação inclui um kit de carroçaria de 8 peças, com uma frente novo, capot, saias lateriais, pára-choques traseiro, difusor, etc, todos feitos em fibra de carbono.

Foram desenvolvidas umas jantes forjadas de baixo peso, feitas em alumínio T-6160. A cor, é um branco mate, obtido através de carwrapping que contrasta com as jantes e tejadilho. Foi também colocado um escape em aço inoxidável BBI Autosport com uma colocação espectacular na traseira.
